Original_ 2019-2020_ Oil on Canvas_ 60 in x 20 in.
The Australia Gem Series was painted during the horrific wildfires in Australia that took place just prior to the 2020 Pandemic. I was moved by what was happening to millions and millions of defenseless animals throughout the land - that were injured and/or killed. Watching the coverage was very difficult. The palette of this oil on canvas painting reflects colors that I was seeing as images of the fires poured in daily. (There are only 3 pieces in this group as the series was 'cut short' by the Pandemic.)

* Original is also Available through this site &/or through the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts, Ojai, California *
