Father called his Son to come back home You’ve planted more than A Million Seeds ~
Charlie Kirk was a man who believed in God, Family & Country. He wanted just to talk out our differences and for that he was assassinated. Whether anyone of us agrees or disagrees with him or even knew who he was before this happened, one thing is clear. His murder was not just an attack on a young man, a husband and a father. It was also an attack on Christianity, an attack on freedom of speech, and an attack on the foundations of America, & as such, no doubt it also marks a Turning Point in the history of the United States of America.
ABOUT THE PAINTING ~
It’s ‘like writers block.’ Sometimes the creative process flows, and other times it doesn’t. And there’s nothing anyone can do about it. And sometimes something happens which removes the block, and you’re able to paint again. This happened with A MILLION SEEDS which sat on my easel for months. And then suddenly -and in this case tragically - you find your voice again. And the title is immediately clear. That was the case here
following one horrific event. I wanted to be alone in my deep grief for a man I didn’t know - and for my country. This painting says everything I wanted to say.
