THE MEADOW  (ORIGINAL SOLD)

2004_  Oil on Canvas_  48 x 36 inches

Original title was changed to remove Nottheo from the picture.  The Meadow combines all that is Shain's Way but expands on it in new and different ways.  The introduction of a far more extensive palette than that used in Shain's Way adds a certain richness and depth that I find utterly intoxicating. I love this piece (hence I had no choice but change the title) ~

The original 'paid for' my move back to the West Coast  - following Sim's passing -  in that it was taken in lieu of any moving fees.  It was time to return and take on the veterinarian whose greed had caused Sim to needlessly suffer.  Win or lose, it was necessary for me to stand for justice and for Sim.  I knew until I did that,  I would be unable to let go.  I was so fortunate along the way in this endeavor - regardless its outcome - that the owner of the moving company fell in love with my work.  For that to this day I remain most grateful!

(Thank you Alex from my heart to yours)

I am going to be making prints available of THE  MEADOW,  the piece that quite literally transported me back to California.
