UPCOMING EVENTS:

Los Angeles:

Pleased to announce that my oil on canvas painting,  L'HISTOIRE CACHÈ (PANDEMIC SERIES)  has been selected by Juror Louis Stern for the Los Angeles Art Association’s Glossary exhibition at Gallery 825 in Los Angeles.

Reception for this Exhibition will take place on:   Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10am - 5pm
     Show runs:    January 21 – February 24, 2023

Tokyo:   In other news,  I've also been invited to the Metropolitan Art Museum in Japan for a June 2023 show which is an honor and so thrilling because any opportunity or excuse to go to Japan -- where the people,  the art,  the food, the fashion  - - - literally everything about the country & the Japanese people  - --  so-o-o-o-o great that I am always excited to go!!  (. . . . although unsure if I'll have work completed in time given quite a bit of recent travel which included both NYC and to Rome).

Online Exhibition: “FALLING IN LOVE (SHHH . . . . WHISPER!)” _ 2022_ Oil_ Canvas_ 40 x 30 inches ~

was selected by jurors for a show at Gallery 825. The show may be viewed online at www.LAAA.org/hurly-burly

Online Exhibition:  “BELONGING 2” __ 2021_ SILK _ 30x40 inches ~ was selected by jurors for an online show.

The work is a print on silk and a Limited Edition 1/1.  “BELONGING 2” may be viewed at https://www.laaa.org/habitual

Los Angeles:

Pleased to announce that my one-day only Exhibition & Sale in Los Angeles this past Saturday did surprisingly well!  I only had smaller works for the most part and yet,  there is not a single piece left in the venue of the 40+ assorted works,  which included mostly just pieces I've never before shown or even photographed and posted on my site.  So I had a 'wonder-full' experience for which I am tremendously grateful.  And I met some great cinematographers & paparazzi, too!  (Thank you Phil for dropping by!!)

(Addendum:  My apologies regarding the image quality on "Dreaming in the Magical Forest of Zduhàc."  It's impossible to appreciate it fully, because it was literally impossible to capture it accurately.  The reason is that there is 'fairy dust' - gems/diamond dust -- which give "Dreaming" its magical quality and appeal.  I only wish there were a way to capture the fantasy and beauty of this particular work!  I was given some suggestions during my show that involved twice polarized lighting (thank you to the cinematographers who stopped in!), but for now,  this was the best I could do.  Suffice it to say,  the piece is in and of itself,  quite dreamy! )

Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of my fans (especially my fans whose comments so inspire me) and my Collectors,  all of whom made 2022 possible and without whom I couldn't continue doing something I love so much -- CREATING! Thank you and a Happy Holidays and a most Happy & Healthy New Year to all of you!!
